For SS14, Zoya color developer Rebecca Isa work with fashion designer Zang Toi to create three beautiful ballet inspired hues for Zang's vision of "Ballet Babes" for spring and summer. 

The gorgeous trio of color was gifted to all show attendees. Included in the collections were Boy Toi (a soft periwinkle blue, full coverage cream), Black Swan (an ultra glossy black, full coverage cream) and Ballet Babe (a delicate pink, full coverage cream).

The nail look was a glossy meets matte split using a new custom blackest, black called Black Swan and a for show only, matte velvet topcoat to create the look.

Manicurists, led by Cinnamon Bowser, randomly swiped the matte topcoat over the black at either on the top or bottom to create a different, totally unique look for each nail and each model.

Designers Mark and Estel started their brand "Mark and Estel" in LA in 2005. The rocker-style and fashion/music mix became their brand signature and the line is available in both the US and International markets.

For the "love and romance" themed SS14 Mark and Estel show, the designing duo selected Zoya Nail Polish in Noot as the show color. The deep charcoal green nail polish complimented the black and white fabrics PERFECTLY and a bit of Mark and Estel edge to otherwise mostly black and white palette!

Nicholas K is a New York based design company founded in 2003 of siblings Nicholas and Christopher Kunz. The duo incorporates traditional quality and design with modern refinements and downtown edge.

For the 2014 Spring/Summer show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, lead manicurist, Sunshine Outing used Zoya Nail Polish in Noot with a Matte Top Coat (not available for retail) and added an "Arrow" chevron tip using Zoya Edyta. 

Hair, Makeup and Nail teams working in unison backstage - beauty at it's best!

The inspiration for the nail art was an arrow head which played to the shows theme of Spring Shawmanism and the natural Native American beauty related to this culture of which both designers have a deep personal connection to having spent much of their youth on an Apache Reservation. The end result was a variety of looks were tomboy-esque with a feminine touch (sparkling tip).

Friday Fashion Find: MBFW 2014 Street Style 

Fashion Week just ended, and while we were in NYC over the week, we saw some fabulously dressed people. The perimeter of The Lincoln Center was like watching your favorite fashion bloggers step right out of the screen and all of the quirky styles and jaw-dropping accessories came alive. One fashion blogger, Danielle A of indieelectronicalternative.com rocked this look on the street in the city this week. This particular style is a great transitional outfit from Summer to Fall.
