Today is the second of my four manicures for this month's Tri-Polish Challenge (done with Crumpet's Nail Tarts). To refresh your memory, these are the polishes I chose:
Pink: Julep Avery
Orange: LeChat Kiss-N-Tell
Turquoise: Zoya Zuza
This time I started with Avery as my base polish. This is a neon bubble-gum pink creme; as is often the case with neons, this is even brighter in person than it is in the pictures:

Look, I don't like pink, and even I have to admit this polish is a must-have for every polish wardrobe. So pretty, great application--wonderful.
Next I created a gradient with Avery and Kiss-N-Tell--what could be prettier than the merger of two gorgeous summer neons:

Finally, I stamped on the accent nail with Zoya Zuza, using cheeky plate GA37:

You can see in these pictures what I mean about none of these polishes really wanting to stamp over each other--Zuza stamps, but the color does a bit of a chameleon thing depending on the polish below. But, in this case, I think it really works, because it looks like the stamping polish is gradiented too--it looks like it's darker over the orange! How cool is that effect?! I'm going to have to remember that and see if can do some fun things with other polishes that do that over gradients. :)
Thanks for stopping by, and please don't forget to look at what the other ladies did, linked below. :)
Big hugs,
M.
