Before & After: FrankenSpell

Hello!

Today in the CNT Halloween challenge, we have a freestyle day!

You might remember a while back I decided to create my own frankenholo by adding Spectraflair to Wet n Wild's Under Your Spell--I named the outcome 'FrankenSpell'. It came out fairly well, although I think I may tinker with it a little more to try to make it a bit more red. Or maybe not. Or maybe I'll split the bottle in two and tinker with half of it. Polish is so much fun...::rubs hands together and cackles madly::...

Here is FrankenSpell on its own:

So what is the most natural thing to put on a gothy black-red holo polish when you want to do a down and dirty freestyle Halloween manicure? Why, skulls, of course! But not just any skulls, no--skulls with BOWS!:

I stamped this using Drikk plate A, and Pure Ice Silver Mercedes. I isolated the single skulls from the overall image for three nails, and used the entire image on the accent nail.

Okay, it's not some super-original manicure on my part, but I still love it. My favorite thing about these skulls is the heart-shaped eye sockets...that just makes me smile every time I look at them (hmm, best not to think too long about what that says about me, lol...). And no Halloween challenge is complete without a few skulls. :)

Thanks for taking a look, and please check out the other freestyle Halloween manis linked below. :)

M.
