Before & After: N is for Night Sky

Hello!

This week Llama Nails is on the letter 'N'...and I chose 'N' is for Night Sky..., well, night sky with a Christmas twist. :)

I started with a base of A'dor Beauty Supplies The Universe, which is a black polish with blue microglitters and micro-holographic glitters that make the polish look like the night sky:

This is one of those polishes that are really hard to capture on film; luckily it shows better on the stamped photos below, for reasons I do not understand (lol). This is a gorgeous universe/night-sky type polish, and I've been looking for one of these forever--this is what I wanted Barry M's Black Glitter to be, but that turned out to be a disappointment (which is unusual for their polishes, I think).

Next I stamped over it using Barry M Silver Foil and the HD plates I got from Bunny nails; I stamped one large star to represent the Star of Bethlehem, and several other small stars:

Do you see what I see?

A star, a star, shining in the night...

With a tail as big as a kite. :)
I like how this turned out--simple, but pretty. It would make a good Christmas Eve manicure, I think.

Thanks for taking a look! Please check out the other 'N' manicures produced by my fellow Llama-ettes. :)

Xoxox,
M.
