Before & After: Intergalactic Pasta

Hello there!

Have you ever wondered what a plate of pasta looks like on other planets? ME TOO!! Who hasn't, right?

Luckily for me, today's image for the Cheeky Twin Post Challenge was the perfect one to help me explore this possible theme.

I started out with a base of A'dor Beauty Supplies Unseelie, a deep, rich, dark olive green with gold shimmer:

Next, I sponged Barry M Gold Foil on the tips for the 'sauce', and used the same to stamp my 'pasta' pattern with Cheeky plate GA26:

I know what you're saying--sauce goes on *top* of the pasta! HEY!!!! What's with all the judgmental judgmentness?? There is no 'up' or 'down' or 'top' or 'bottom' in space!! (...>.>...)

*Ahem*. The gold seemed a bit too stark for me, so I redid it as a gradient with the gold and Unseelie, with Unseelie at the tips:

Ah yes, much prettier, I think. Only one problem...there's nothing to eat the awesome intergalactic pasta with! This must be fixed! So, I stamped the forks from Cheeky plate CH42 with Barry M Silver Foil:

Whaddya think? Does it make you want to run out and eat at a restaurant on Galacticon 6? ;-)

Thanks for taking a look, and don't forget to check out what Dina did with this image, by clicking here. :)

Xoxox,
M.
